Introduction

QNAP Systems has released security updates to address vulnerabilities in legacy versions of QNAP Hybrid Backup Sync (HBS 3). An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities to take control of an affected system.

Remediation advice

Affected organisations are encouraged to review QNAP security advisory QSA-21-19 and apply the relevant update.
