Affected platforms

The following platforms are known to be affected:

VMware vCenter Server Versions: 6.5, 6.7, and 7.0

VMware Cloud Foundation Versions: 3.x prior to 3.10.21, and 4.x prior to 4.2.1

Threat details

Introduction

Vmware has released security updates to address multiple vulnerabilities in their vCenter Server platform. They claim that an unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities to take control of an affected system.

Remediation advice

Affected organisations are encouraged to review VMware security advisory VMSA-2021-0010 and apply any relevant updates.
