Introduction

The Python Software Foundation is urging Python users to upgrade instances of Python 3 to address a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability that's tracked as CVE-2021-3177.

Remediation advice

Organisations are encouraged to review the Python Insider Release and apply the necessary updates.
