Threat details

As with most malware-as-a-service, Masad Stealer can be delivered in any manner it's operators choose. However, at the time of publication, it has only been observed being distributed disguised as legitimate application hosted on third-party sites.

Once installed, Masad Stealer will attempt to collect data from a number of systems and services, including:

Auto-Fill fields
Browser passwords and cookies
Cryptocurrency wallets
Financial browser data
Messaging applications
User and system information

This data is then compressed using an embedded archiving application before being sent back to Masad Stealer's operators using the Telegram messaging service.
