Threat details
It has been observed targeting engineering, financial and governmental organisations throughout Western Europe and the USA.
At the time of publication it is unclear how MirageFox is being distributed, although APT15 have historically used sophisticated phishing campaigns to deliver their malware.
Once installed, MirageFox initiates communications with its command and control infrastructure before sending system and user information. It will then await further commands from APT15.
