To avoid an adversary targeting a vulnerable version of WordPress, it is recommended that organisations download the latest version, 4.7.2 at the earliest opportunity. This can be done manually or by clicking the “update now” button on the CMS dashboard. Automatic updates are being sent out to websites that support this feature.
