Request received regarding hospital admissions for intentional self poisoning and self harm amongst young people in the period April to December of each year from 2011 to 2020.
Our response
In response to the enquiry we have provided the following:
Counts of finished admission episodes with an external cause code of a) intentional self poisoning (excluding alcohol) and b) intentional self-harm, by government office region of residence, by gender and age band (years).
Timeframe: April to December in the years 2011 to 2020, Apr 20 - Dec 20 provisional, extracted from HES APC 20-21 month 9
