Bureau Service Portal

NHS Digital hosts the Bureau Service Portal, a facility that allows centralised collection and processing of national health service data. We collect the data to produce a number of data sets, which can be used in health research, to inform policy, and to monitor and improve care.

The Bureau Service Portal allows providers of relevant NHS services to upload their data at regular intervals. At the end of a given period the applications produce extracts for providers, commissioners and NHS Digital which can be downloaded.

Each data set using the portal is updated every month. They are listed below, along with essential documents and links.

Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT)

The IAPT data set contains record level data about the care of, and outcomes for, people accessing IAPT services.

Community Services Data Set (CSDS)

The Community Services Data Set (CSDS) expands the scope of the  Children and Young People's Health Services Data Set (CYPHS) data set, by removing the 0 to 18 age restriction. The CSDS supersedes the CYPHS data set, to allow adult community data to be submitted.
