  • data services that offer advice on designing and managing data, provide data for system testing and oversee the migration of information between systems
  • environment management which offers incident management and support -they also manage access to NHS systems through registration and Smart cards
  • technical operations which provide 24/7 monitoring of live services and technical support to ensure they remain functioning correctly
  • hosting and monitoring which is responsible for hardware purchasing, installation and monitoring
  • database management and operations which manage information stored on databases
  • automation initiatives such as active test and open test which allow healthcare organisations more control of their own system development
