Export data files (Excel and CSV)

Organisation data has been compiled and made available to download with DataPoint, our user-friendly interface.

Some data is still only available to download in CSV format.

We've compiled primary and secondary care data, such as GPs, pharmacies and trusts. Information is updated daily in DataPoint and it lets you export into Excel and CSV files.

Our top 5 files in DataPoint are:

• GP practices (epraccur)
• GP practitioners (egpcur)
• primary care networks (epcn)
• NHS trusts (etr)
• sub-ICB locations (formerly Clinical Commissioning Groups (eccg))

ODS has compiled Adult Social Care data and other files such as care homes, dental sites, and postcodes  and made it available in csv self-extracting zip files, which are updated monthly or quarterly.

Our top CSV files are:

• care home headquarters (ecarehomehq.csv)
• care home sites (ecarehomesite.csv)
• complete Gridlink NHS postcode directory (gridall.csv)
• postcodes in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands (pcodeall)

This data is only available as other CSV files, and not available on DataPoint.
