NHS App dashboard

Health and care staff can track uptake and use of the NHS App with the NHS App dashboard.

About the NHS App dashboard

The NHS App reporting dashboard is provided by NHS England. It enables those working in the health and care system to see how many patients are using the NHS App across England, and which features they are using. This information can then support strategic decision making at all levels. It can be accessed by anyone with an Okta account.

Information available through the NHS App reporting dashboard

The dashboard provides uptake and usage measures, such as:

  • user sign-ups and logins
  • appointment bookings and cancellations
  • summary and detail coded record views
  • repeat prescription requests
  • organ donation registrations, withdrawals, lookups and updates
  • number of clicks on services provided by integrated partners
  • app downloads split between Android and Apple (national only)

These measures can be viewed at daily, weekly or monthly granularity, and can be filtered by the geographical groupings:

  • Region
  • Integrated Care Board (ICB)
  • Sub-ICB
  • Primary Care Network (PCN)
  • GP practice

Data is updated weekly on Tuesdays at 3am.

How to access the dashboard

The dashboard can be found by logging into NHS England Apps with an OKTA account and searching for ‘NHS App Reporting Dashboard’.
