Morbidity Information Query and Export Syntax (MIQUEST)

MIQUEST enables the collection of health data from GP computer systems in a common computer-readable format.

MIQUEST allows you to submit queries to and extract data from different types of GP practice systems using a common query language.

With MIQUEST you can access, collect and analyse data held within practice systems to support the planning, commissioning, monitoring and evaluation of health and care services.

For example, you can analyse the prevalence of morbidities and changes over time, progress towards health gain targets for specified groups (for example, in support of health improvement programmes), outcomes for patients with specified illness, monitoring at risk groups.

If you need a copy of the MIQUEST software, please email the National Helpdesk Exeter or call 0300 303 4034.
