EDDI functional change - update
Please note there has been a change to the service capacity functionality.
When setting up a service, users must enter the maximum capacity for each hour time period, for every day of the week.
The option to copy the maximum capacity from one day to all the other days of the week is not available, as shown in the picture below:
All training materials will be updated accordingly.
EDDI support sessions
The EDDI team are running a series of drop-in sessions to support any issues during go-live.
Please contact your NHS Digital Implementation and Business Change team to join a session.
We have also published a troubleshooting guide that should be checked first.
EDDI release 2 training webinars
To support EDDI release 2, the EDDI training team are deliveing webinars for Emergency Department service managers. These sessions will support managers and show them how to manage capacity and services in EDDI.
EDDI training webinars now available for booking
The EDDI training team will be hosting live sessions for front line emergency department staff to help them prepare for using EDDI to arrive patients.
EDDI clinical safety case signed off
To comply with DCB0129 clinical safety processes, the EDDI clinical safety case and hazard log has been developed.
As part of our internal assurance and governance, this has been approved by the NHS Digital Clincial Safety Group.
The clinical lead for EDDI will continue to assess the onwards development and roll-out of EDDI to ensure that any potential clinical hazards are identified, mitigated and recorded.
