Special conditions are a place to highlight particularly important contractual terms that are specific to a particular application.
Special conditions should be used to impose crucial restrictions and/or obligations on an applicant which are not already covered in the data sharing framework contract (DSFC).
Auditors pay particular attention to the points mentioned as special conditions and will specifically check and report on the applicant’s compliance with any special conditions listed as part of any audit report produced
Special conditions should be used where the particular circumstances of an application require something different in the circumstances of the data dissemination which is not covered, or is contrary to, the standard provisions of the DSFC.
Special conditions could be used for time bound requirements. However, it is not a requirement that all special conditions to be time bound.
