Alex is the Head of Technical Intervention within the Live Services directorate and has worked in the NHS for 15 years. He is a seasoned troubleshooter and diagnostician with decades of experience in resolving complex incidents affecting critical systems and services.

Alex’s role can be varied and unpredictable, rapidly adapting to systems and environments across the NHS in order to root out bugs, remediate outages and drive continual service improvement. His catalogue responsibilities including leading a specialist technical team, the operational management of the nhs.uk Domain Name System (DNS) service and oversight of the NHS public key infrastructure (PKI). Alex has previously worked in the engineering, finance and education sectors.
