In response to the enquiry we have provided a count of finished admission episodes where there was a primary diagnosis of alcoholic liver disease (K70), by gender and age group (i.e. under 30, 30 and over and unknown age) for the years 2004-05 to 2019-20.
We have received a media enquiry requesting the number of primary diagnosis of alcoholic liver disease amongst young women. Specifically:
- A time series for the last ten years’ figures
- Across the whole of England,
- Just for women aged UNDER 30
- Episodes of care where the primary diagnosis code was recorded as K.70 (alcoholic liver disease)
