1. Count of Finished Admission Episodes (FAEs) with a main or secondary procedure of hysterectomy, national figures and broken down by age, for the years 2008-09 to 2018-19. 2. Count of Finished Admission Episodes (FAEs) with a primary diagnosis of (i) endometriosis and (ii) endometriosis of uterus (including adenomyosis) and a main or secondary procedure of hysterectomy, national figures and broken down by age, for the years 2007-08 to 2018-19. 3. Count of Finished Admission Episodes (FAEs) with a primary diagnosis of (i) pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder and (ii) fibroids and a main procedure of hysterectomy, broken down by age, for the years 2008-09 to 2018-19.

In response to your recent enquiry regarding (a) endometriosis, (b) fibroids, (c) adenomyosis and (d) pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder in relation to hysterectomies, we have provided:

 

1. Count of Finished Admission Episodes (FAEs) with a main or secondary procedure of hysterectomy, national figures and broken down by age, for the years 2008-09 to 2018-19.

 

2. Count of Finished Admission Episodes (FAEs) with a primary diagnosis of (i) endometriosis and (ii) endometriosis of uterus (including adenomyosis) and a main or secondary procedure of hysterectomy, national figures and broken down by age, for the years 2007-08 to 2018-19.
