NHS Sickness Absence Rates, October 2021 to December 2021, Provisional Statistics

Sickness absence rates for English NHS staff are calculated by dividing the “Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Number of Days Sick” (including non-working days) by the “FTE Number of Days available” for each month, quarter or year from the absence dimension within the ESR Data Warehouse.
