CHANGE NOTICE: Following a recent consultation, we have made several changes to our data processing and methodology for this publication, detailed in the Report and accompanying Data Quality Statement and Methodological Change Notice. The figures produced under the new methodology are not comparable with any previously published figures.

December 2018 figures have been produced under this new methodology, and revised figures for December 2017 and September 2018 have also been calculated; the remaining revised historical figures from September 2015 to current will be published 25 April 2019. The online interactive dashboard has not yet been updated; figures for December 2018 and with the revised figures using the new methodology will be released on 25 April 2019.

This quarterly report presents data about GPs, Nurses, Direct Patient Care and Admin/Non-Clinical staff working in General Practice in England, along with information on their patients, practice and the services they provide.

Various data breakdowns are available in the accompanying Excel and CSV files, including time series and breakdowns by categories such as age and gender. Data is also presented regionally and at practice level in the accompanying CSVs.
