Revised figures for December 2017 and September 2018 have been calculated and published as part of the 21 February 2019 publication and revised historical figures from September 2015 to current will be published 25 April 2019. The online interactive dashboard has not yet been updated; figures for December 2018 and with the revised figures using the new methodology will be released on 25 April 2019.
This report presents data about GPs, Nurses, Direct Patient Care and Admin/Non-Clinical staff in general practice, along with information on their patients, practices, and the services they provide.
This is a quarterly publication and includes final data from September 2015 to June 2018, along with provisional September 2018 data. Final September 2018 data will be available in the December 2018 publication.
Change Notice: From the September 2018 collection, the source for GP Registrars (foundation and specialty registrar trainees on placements in General Practice) has changed. The new data source is the Health Education England (HEE) Trainee Information System (TIS).
Various data breakdowns are available in the accompanying Excel and CSV files, including time series and breakdowns by categories such as age and gender. Data is also presented regionally and at practice level.
