Collection and Submission of the new COVID Oximetry @home aggregated Situation Report (SitRep)

Situation Report (SitRep) is a new weekly data collection from clinical commissioning groups (CCGs), which will be provided to NHS England & NHS Improvement (NHSE&I) from 1 September 2021 on a weekly basis.  

The new data collection will be for two counts covering data across your area, these counts are:

1. Number of people onboarded to COVID Oximetry @home within the last week (Tuesday to Monday).
2. Total number of people who are on the COVID Oximetry @home pathway at the end of the last week (end of the day Monday).

CCGs will need to download the new submission template from the Strategic Data Collection Service (SDCS) on Tuesday 31 August.

We require CCGs to submit this data each Wednesday by midday for activity in the last week (Tuesday to Monday).

Separately, the same counts will be undertaken for complementary COVID Virtual Ward services by acute trusts.
