Network connectivity and improved bandwidth

The NHS is deploying new resource at an unprecedented rate, including setting up new hospitals, and other new resources. 

We are making sure that these sites have accelerated access to Health and Social Care Network (HSCN) services, which provide highly performant, security enhanced internet connectivity as well as the private connectivity required to access critical NHS applications.

We can prioritise these connections with the nation’s infrastructure and network suppliers to rapidly deploy high bandwidth connectivity to sites being used to house COVID-19 hospitals and other health services in support of the COVID-19 response.

In many cases we can also help provision HSCN connectivity over existing infrastructure and connectivity.

We are accelerating the connections for the NHS, so that the front line gets the services they need.

This means that staff can access systems quickly and reliably, even with the additional network traffic flowing through the system.
