Change and Transition Lead

Working in change and transition, we focus on ensuring all new services and improvements are sustainable, supportable, secure and safe as they go live.

I’ve been into IT in varying forms for as long as I can remember – way back into childhood. I’ve worked in IT Operations within retail, banking and education, and the NHS just feels like where I’m supposed to be. I’m really interested in making our path to live frictionless and as efficient as possible, so we can match the pace of delivery teams and evolve our NHS.

You’re working with passionate, highly skilled people within multiple areas of the organisation.

A huge part of the job is about building relationships and understanding people’s drivers and vision, but also, sometimes, challenging mindsets. It's such a complex environment, both in terms of the relationships and the technology, that you need to exist in multiple worlds simultaneously.

I love being a dad and often play tabletop roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons, both of which help with survival skills, critical thinking and problem solving!
