From 1 November 2022, patients must be allowed digital access to view their prospective (future) medical record, including free text and documents, as set out in the letter to general practice staff in July.
We’re aware that not all practices have the correct organisation (global) settings for online services to provide this access. Please follow the instructions for TPP and EMIS systems on how to check and update these settings before 1 November. Work is ongoing with Cegedim (previously Vision) to create the same functionality.
