Dr. Geoffrey Schrecker

Geoff qualified as a GP in 1993 and has been involved with GP IT and information governance since then. He has been a trustee and the chair of the EMIS National User Group and RCGP Clinical Champion for Patient Data Choices.

He has been made a Fellow of the RCGP for his work in informatics and is a Founding Fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics.

He is an independent consultant in clinical informatics and works as a clinical safety officer.

Geoff was a member of the National Data Guardian’s Panel until 31 March 2022.
