Data Provision Notice to require the submission of data from NHS ambulance services to support aspects of performance monitoring.

Overview

NHS Digital manages this data collection on behalf of NHS England.

Data from the Ambulance Systems Indicators (AmbSYS) collection helps to identify pressures in the urgent and emergency care system and provide early warning of areas where patient care may not meet requirements.

Ambulance Systems Indicators (AmbSYS) data, with data from the complementary Ambulance Clinical Outcomes (AmbCO) collection, is used to produce the Ambulance Quality Indicators (AQI) monthly publication.

The migration and continued operation of the Unify2 collections through Strategic Data Collections Service Direction 2017

A Direction given by the Secretary of State for Health requiring NHS Digital to establish the migration of the Unify2 collections listed in Annex A onto NHS Digital's Strategic Data Collections Service (SDCS) and continue the operation of these collections through this service.

Collection

This collection is a monthly collection. The submission window opens on the morning of the 1st working day of each month.
